Dr. Nancy O'Reilly Bio

Nancy D. O’Reilly, Psy.D.
Dr. Nancy O’Reilly is a Nationally Certified Crisis Responder and Crisis Team Leader, and a member of National Organization of Victim Assistance. She served in New York City after 9/11, in Louisiana after Hurricane Katrina and in Joplin after the tornado. She has spent years helping people deal with the aftermath of traumatic events including weather disasters, fire, divorce, health crises, job loss and more.
As a licensed psychologist, professional speaker, researcher, philanthropist and founder of the WomenSpeak Project, Nancy D. O’Reilly, PsyD, has devoted her career to educating, motivating and empowering women to move from trauma to triumph. Her lively and engaging presentations have educated and inspired audiences across the country.
Dr. Nancy conducts weekly interviews with smart, amazing women on WomenSpeak.com. She is a popular keynote speaker, gives radio and TV interviews, has published professional articles, and has presented her research at an American Psychological Association national conference. She authored the self-help book, Timeless Women Speak: Feeling Youthful At Any Age, based on her decade of research with more than 1,200 women, and has authored eBooks and many blog posts and articles.
Dr. Nancy received a Missourian Award in 2010 for her community service; continues to chair Female Leaders in Philanthropy, a United Way Women’s Initiative; and participated in the 2011 United Nations Commission on the Status of Women. She works consistently in her community and her state to uphold professional standards in the practice of psychology, to lessen the impacts of hunger on children, and to help women improve their personal and professional situations. She serves on many boards including the Missouri State Committee of Psychologists Board of Directors.
