Women lose hormones as the years pass. As early as age 30 women's hormone levels begin to drop as does their zip and energy. Find ways to find your passion and enthusiasm again.

I recently spoand ke with Genie James about her new book; “In the Mood Again“. Yes it really means what it says….Genie is the co-founder of The Natural Hormone Institute. She and her husband are helping men and women find their lust and passion for life. It is more than just getting in the mood for love but getting back one’s love of life. I know as time as passed I search out ways to feel energized and pep and most of all motivation to get moving. I have heard so many women say their greatest fear is not having enough energy for the things they need to do. Genie says there is hope for all of us. Hormonal imbalances begin as early as age 30 years for women. It does seem fair as we get older and are making more time for the things we love and yet are too pooped to pop. I am excited about my conversation with Genie and this no fluff piece of literature. In the Mood is a serious read about how hormones work, what we can do to feel better and what resources are out there for any woman who wants her “zippity do” back. I am all for that and will pass along any and all resources that come my way. Here is to life and a life full of excitement and lots of passion. Join me and listen to my conversation with Genie James about her book, In the Mood and find your MOJO……and get it working again. Happy days are here again. Dr Nancy

You know I often hear someone say “I thought we solved that problem”. Well the incidence and problem of domestic violence and child abuse has not been solved and still exists. In fact to be honest the numbers continue to increase. The ever increasing numbers do not reflect that many women do not report the abuse and women and chidren are still dying. I think we need to get up off our fannies and do more to end this problem. I love to hear when I find someone who is willing to do just that. Here is Melanie’s story:

I recently received a note from Melanie Luke. Melanie is a women making a difference for other women. She is 3rd year nursing student at the University of Ontario. She saw things that made her angry, made her want to speak out …so we are going to help her to do just that. She is first of all wanting the City of London to wake up and help them with their women’s shelter. The Women’s Community House (WCH) is located in London, Ontario and provides emergency shelter, second stage housing, and transitional support for abused women and their children. They need help and want to send out an appeal. I know for a fact this is only one of many shelters that need help and almost every community has a shelter that is housing these victims of violence.

The reports indicate there is rise in all types of abuse, the economy has not helped and we need to help when and where we can. Here is Melanie Luke’s contact information: mluke@uwo.ca. Contact her, join her and help her find the needed support for this important shelter. We cannot let these women and children suffer in silence. If you are a victim of domestic violence you have a hotline in your community….call it and/or have someone you trust help you. We can all help and prevent and end this problem. Oh by the way it does not matter what your social status, your education, your religion or how much money you have…abuse is blind and affects all walks of life. Help a woman or child you suspect is a victim of abuse. Lastly, if you are a victim of abuse do not feel guilty and you did nothing to deserve this kind of treatment….you have worth, value and you matter to us all.

I just gave my new copy of Karma to my 16 year old grand daughter. Nancy Deville, the author has worked to build awareness and to prevent the horrendous money making business of Global Sex Trafficking. Human trafficking is real, young children and women are being sold all over the world and it is a billion dollar business. Today their is a child being sold to an owner as a slave, a sex toy, and who will used as a piece of meat. There is a young women being kidnapped as she travels in Europe or a young woman who answers an ad that promises her a new and better future. They are kidnapped, drugged, imprisoned, made to prositute themselves, have babies that are sold, and when they are no longer of any value they are killed and their organs are harvested for sale. This is real and is not something we cannot ignore. After reading Nancy’s book I gave it to my 16 year old grand daughter, Alexis. We talked about the book and even though it is a novel it was written to explain how the process of human trafficking works. She is reading it now and we will discuss when she reads it.

Too many young women are affected by the media that constantly show them young, beautiful women rich, famous and revered celebrities. They are made to believe this is where their value lies in their bodies and in their beauty and being wanted by everyone. Young girls easily can become victims of those that use the medias influence to prey on their emotions and desires. Some young women come from poor and dire straights and are looking for a better life for themselves and their families. They also answer ads that suggest that good jobs await them and once they go for interviews they are kidnapped and the human trafficking begins.

How many young women and children are enslaved today is hard to say but it is into the millions and the US is not absolved of this horrendous practice. It does not matter if you are rich, educated, and you think you are savy….these people know what works to trap you. Never travel alone and always know where you are going and never accept invitations from men, women or even a child you do not know. Women and children are used to trap women and other children into slavery.

Nancy Deville, is the expert and if you want to learn more about organizations and ways you can help and be better informed go to our web site now and listen to our conversation and follow links to her website. I urge to get your head out of the sand….I assure you I will do my part to save as many women and children from slavery and sex trafficking as I am able. Please join the Womenspeak Project and help us protect us all from the horrors of sex trafficking and global human trafficking. This is no joke and it is real and right now their is a women or child that needs our help

Dr. Nancy’s daughter, Ragan O’Reilly, is proving to be her mother’s daughter. Mother and daughter have each found their own mission to transform lives. You’re familiar with Dr. Nancy’s mission to help millions of amazing women realize how amazing they are and to show them how to live easier, more successful lives–throughout their lives.

Ragan has found her own life-transforming venue through her organization, In The Loving, Inc. Many people give lip service to world peace, Ragan and the other members of In The Loving take important action through producing products and reaching out wherever they see the need.

Check out how they have lovingly created blessings for “Generation Now” through their “Baby in Bliss” CD and DVD. Reading the mission alone is inspiring. Check out the Facebook page, then go the website and sample the “Baby in Bliss” music and video.

But that’s not all, continue reading and you’ll see how Ragan and her team have taken steps to reach those most in need and set an example for rebuilding a ravaged Haiti.

Here is the press release that has been circulated throughout the country. Feel free to spread the word.

F o r I m m e d i a t e R e l e a s e
IN THE LOVING, INC. Unites with
HELP FOR ORPHANS INTERNATIONAL
to Build Orphanages in Haiti

There Is No Shortage of Love for the People of Haiti When In the Loving, Inc. and Help for Orphans International Serve Together.

Palos Verdes Estates, CA, February 24, 2010 – Ragan O’Reilly, local mom, CEO of In the Loving, Inc., hospital coordinator at Art of Elysium charity, and daughter of the very successful O’Reilly Auto Parts empire founder, financially partners with Help For Orphans International to build an orphanage and give aid to children in devastated Port au Prince, Haiti, after earthquake devastates in mid-January. Despite the fact that Ms. O’Reilly is only days away from delivering identical twin girls, she is one of the driving forces behind the scouting team that left for Haiti on February 24, 2010. The team’s goal is to help build awareness and hope, and in turn raise additional funds to erect an orphanage named after In the Loving, Inc. This is one company who strives to put its money where its heart is.

Left to right top row, Idris Hester, Chris Tucker, Josef Geiger, Josie Dobin, Ragan Oreilly (& twins)
Bottom, Kevin Rowell, Taylor Johnson, Sarah Ehrlich

Following in the footsteps of several American and international philanthropists such as Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Wyclef Jean, and Doctors Without Borders, In the Loving, under the direction of Ragan O’Reilly, has sent an amazingly talented, loving, five-person team on a mission of compassion and joy, spreading cheer and encouragement through art and drumming to the ravaged Haitian capital. The volunteer team consists of Idris Hester, Life Coach and Lead Percussionist at Agape International Spiritual Center near Los Angeles; Taylor Johnson, Artist, Nanny and Trip Coordinator; Christopher Tucker, College Counselor; and Josef Geiger, Documentarian and Photo Journalist. Geiger will be filming the events as they occur, and creating a documentary to help draw international attention to the needs of the Haitian people. The team is also bringing with them a Consultant who designs structures that are eco-friendly and use only natural, sustainable materials, to assess the resources, land, and gather all necessary information to successfully build an orphanage.

Donated art supplies from various sources, including Home Depot, have made it possible to fulfill the first of the company’s goals to spread joy and optimism: to facilitate the creation of a mural for and by children in Haiti depicting their resilience, bravery, and beauty. The mural, originally envisioned by Taylor Johnson, will feature colorful butterflies surrounding a large healthy tree with the children’s hand prints throughout.

The second goal is to help the children learn that joy comes from within, playfulness is good for the soul, and hope abounds. Drumming is the company’s vehicle of choice to reach that goal. “The healing power of drumming plays a huge role in the company,” says O’Reilly, “and now Haiti receives the benefits in their efforts to heal and revive children’s spirits.” Drum and rhythm circles, facilitated by Idris Hester, are scheduled throughout their nine days, utilizing drumming, clapping, and dancing.

###

We’re cheering for Ragan’s continued success and look forward to posting more news about her lovingly inspired vision.
